What is your return policy?

Motherboards, memory and processors must be returned within 7 days for refund. All other items that are returned or exchanged for different items are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Items must be returned with a receipt within 30 days of purchase.

No returns or refunds of consumable items, printer cartridges, services, or items returned incomplete or without all original packaging. All returns are either credited back to the customer’s credit card, or issued a company check within 14 days.

A note about unclaimed computers and equipment

All computers and other equipment left unclaimed for more than 30 days will be recycled or donated.

Where do viruses come from?

Most viruses are introduced into your computer by browsing the internet or opening infected email. If you are unsure of an email’s sender, best to not open it. And certainly do not click on links within an email unless you are sure of the sender. Even then, be very suspicious of an email from someone that you do know if there is no other content in the email. Better safe than sorry.

What does Christopher’s Computers do to “Clean Up” my computer?

When Cleaning up a computer Christopher’s Computers scans for and corrects any issues with your windows registry, we clean up any unneeded temporary files that build up from normal computer use. We update all critical programs to improve security. We’ll also blow out the dust that builds up from normal computer use. These steps go a long way to prolonging the life of your computer as well as letting the computer make best use of its available resources. (making it faster).

A Note about your data

Your data is your responsibility. While we make every effort to safeguard your data we can not be held responsible for it. Back up your data regularly and check the integrity of your backups.

When is payment due?

Payment is due upon the time of service. However, business customers may elect to mail their payment to the office at 549 Merrimon Ave. Asheville, NC. 28804 within 15 days of services performed.

After 30 days a late charge will be incurred. Payments received after the due date are subject to late charges. Minimum charge is $25.00 for all late payments.

What types of computers do you sell?

At Christopher’s Computers we sell the same computers that we would buy ourselves. We custom build Windows based PCs utilizing the best performing hardware available. This provides you with the very best PC that you can get, anywhere. We use components made by such companies as ASUS, Intel, AMD and XFX. These are the top component manufacturers anywhere.

We also sell laptops built by the top manufacturers. We hand pick these laptops with your needs in mind so that you end up with the very best performing most reliable laptop for your money.

All of our computers carry a one year warranty on all components. Guaranteed.

What is the difference between AMD & Intel?

AMD and Intel are the companies that manufacture the processor (brain) inside of your computer. The main difference is that Intel processors tend to be more expensive due to their market shares. AMD is geared more towards graphics and gaming.

How long will my repairs take?

Christopher’s Computers strives for a 48 hour turnaround on initial diagnosis. Time to complete repairs depends on severity of problem. If we have to special order a part for you we will call you to let you know your computers status.

All services performed by Christopher’s Computers are guaranteed. We try sincerely to handle every service honestly, efficiently and at a fair price. Should you ever have a question regarding our work, please feel free to bring it to us.

We guarantee only that the new parts installed by us will perform satisfactorily under conditions of normal usage for a period of 1 year after the date of repair. For refurbished parts installed by us, we will guarantee for up to 30 days a replacement part. EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED ABOVE, THERE IS NO WARRANTY OR GUARANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR OF ANY OTHER KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO THE SERVICES PERFORMED OR PARTS FURNISHED BY US. Therefore, we do not make any guarantee with respect to any other parts. If repairs later become necessary due to other defective parts, they will be charged separately.
